Back at it!

Hey all, I'm sure all is well in the Yard. ?Checking out the site today I noticed all the great athletes that have been checking in lately...WOW, what a lineup! ?It is great hearing from all the other athletes and fans and getting their perspective on the sporting world.
In my world, it is back to the grind after a week off. ?After our tough loss to Portland two weeks ago, we all took the week off to re-group. ?For me, it was up to Lake Tahoe and then to Vegas for four days. ?It was a great trip, and Brooklyn loved the bright lights of Vegas. ?It was?awesome?to get away, but now I am ready to get back at it. ?We host Colorado this weekend for what?essentially?is a third place battle. ?They have been hot lately and will be ?a tough opponent as they normally are. ?There won't be many?surprises?for either team, as we know each other so well.
In Stealth land we have been struggling a bit to find our identity. ?I still believe once we do, we are going to be a great team with a really good shot at making a run at the title. ?With that being said, if we don't we may continue to struggle. ?This will be a big weekend for us, as we strive to find our grove. ?It is certainly not time for panic, but this win at home would go a long way for us!!
On Saturday night the HP?Pavilion?is also hosting Joey Chestnut (A Yardbarker athlete) as he tries to break the record for eating macaroni. ?I myself am a big eater and I am really looking forward to seeing him get after the macaroni. ?I think if I get my shot I am going to call him out in the Pizza bracket, cause I love my pizza. ?All in all it is going to be a great night at the HP, so I hope to see a bunch of you out there supporting the Stealth as we start to make our move in the NLL Western Division.
Nothing for top five lists today, but I will find some time to have a look at some of the books your guys offered in your responses!!

  hey colin, i just read your top five book list from last time, and i TOTALLY agree with number 1. what a great story that was. if you like that one, you'll probably love the very honest, no BS writing style of Dave Eggers, too. read anything by him before? All of his books are great, especially A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius and What is the What.

  Congrats to you and Wick on making the All Star team again this year.
  Wish a couple more Stealth guys could have gone with you, but they're taking former Stealth players like Cosmo, Woods and Hawks instead, so it's not that bad.
  We're thinking that being on the Stealth roster is the path to All Star recognition down the road.
  Dominate those Woolies this weekend, we're looking forward to a great game.

  The reveal of the Toronto Nationals took place yesterday and I am looking forward to seeing a filed lacrosse game for the first time live at BOM field. I really like the logo and the team is stacked. It will be great to see you play again in TO.

  Doyler, thanks for the reply on my note. We'll miss you in the ROC, but it's only geography, you've got a Steinfeld Cup to defend, don't let the league tell you different. The Rowdies will be watching and probably even making a game or two. Who knows, we might even be firing up the phone towards the end of the end of the NLL season asking your opinions of the Nationals on Hawk Talk.
